Dailuaine 9 years The Red Cask
The 9-year-old Dailuaine from the independent bottlers Global Whiskey Limited is a truly remarkable drop. With an alcohol content of 58% and its exclusive maturation in a 1st fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead, this single cask whiskey presents itself as a harmonious and at the same time complex pleasure.
Due to the influence of the sherry cask, the Dailuaine was able to convince the nose with a multi-faceted aroma of dried fruits, raisins and dark chocolate. Wonderful notes of caramel, honey and a subtle spiciness then unfold on the palate, which are particularly intense due to the strong alcohol content.
