The Daftmill 12 Year Old 2011/2024 Winter Batch Release is a remarkable example of Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky , produced in the tranquil surroundings of a family farm. This limited edition, bottled in an extremely small run of just 7,500 bottles, embodies the passion and craftsmanship that goes into each bottle.
The basis of this whisky is the carefully selected Publican barley variety, which was harvested by the family in August 2009. The barley was malted in the summer of 2010 at the renowned Crisp Malt malthouse in Alloa, where the highest quality standards are guaranteed. Distillation took place in December 2011, with the distillery operating during the traditional winter months to minimize dependence on the agricultural cycle and to be able to concentrate fully on whisky production.
