This exquisite bottling comes from the renowned Chichibu distillery, which has been known for its tireless dedication to craftsmanship and experimentation since its founding in 2008. The single malt is made from 100% hand-malted barley, which underlines the characteristic, earthy base tone of the whisky and brings out the unique aromas of the Chichibu region.
The 2024 edition includes carefully selected whiskies that have been aged between 9 and 15 years. This maturation in a variety of casks – including bourbon barrels, sherry puncheons, mizunara hogsheads, wine casks and the signature Chibidaru casks – gives the whisky a remarkable complexity Each barrel brings its own flavor profile, creating a harmonious symbiosis of fruity, spicy and woody notes.
