The Caol Ila 2011 was bottled by Berry Bros & Rudd after almost 11 years of aging. The whiskey comes from the Islay region in Scotland. Only one barrel with 1011 bottles was filled. The alcohol content is 46%. No chill filtration or coloring was used.

Since 1698, Berry Bros & Rudd has been a London institution and a source of knowledge for fine spirits. With an incredible heritage spanning centuries - it supplied drink to smugglers during Prohibition, protected French Emperor Napoleon III. in the cellar and weighed the famous poet Lord Byron on his large coffee scales - this venerable company still plays an important role today: it is proud to be the purveyor of Her Majesty's Royal Family.
