Bushmills 14 Years Malaga Casks Finish
The Bushmills 14 year old Malaga Cask Finish is an outstanding example of Irish craftsmanship in whiskey production. This exquisite single malt whiskey is triple distilled, a process known for its exceptional smoothness and purity. It is matured in carefully selected first and second fill bourbon barrels, which lay the foundation for the harmonious aromas.
After the first maturation period, the whiskey is refined for a whole year in rare Malaga wine barrels. This special finishing phase gives the product a fascinating ruby red color that immediately catches the eye and gives an idea of the depth of flavor. The Malaga wine barrels, which were previously used for storing fine wines, produce complex notes of sweet, exotic summer fruits. Aromas of ripe peaches, juicy apricots and a subtle honey sweetness unfold and harmonize wonderfully with the warm, spicy wood notes that were shaped by the previous storage in the bourbon barrel.
