The Bunnahabhain 28 Years Untold Riches is an outstanding example of the art of whisky distilling on the Scottish island of Islay. Distilled between 1987 and 1991 and bottled in 2020, this limited edition shows remarkable maturation that has taken place over almost three decades in carefully selected casks. With an alcohol content of 49.1%, this single malt whisky unfolds its complex aromas to the full.
The bottling comes from a careful selection of 28 hogsheads and 3 butts, which give the whisky a balanced and complex taste structure. The Untold Riches is colorless because no coloring was added, which underlines the purity and authenticity of the product. In addition, chill filtration was not used, so that the full variety of aromas and character of the whisky are retained.
