The 9 year old Blair Athol is a single cask whiskey released by the independent bottler Global Whiskey Limited. With an astonishing cask strength of 55%, it is a real treat for lovers of strong and intense flavors.
This special whiskey was distilled in 2013 and matured in a 1st fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead. This type of cask gives the whiskey its characteristic color, its rich aromas of raisins, dates and dark chocolate, and its final notes of coffee and oak.
