Bladnoch 16 years of Sherry Single Cask
The Bladnoch 16 Year Old Sherry Single Cask is an outstanding single malt whiskey from the Lowlands region of Scotland. This particular bottling was drawn from a single cask with cask number 439 and is therefore a single cask bottling. A total of only 677 bottles were filled, which makes this bottling an absolute rarity.
The whiskey was distilled in December 2006 and given the opportunity to mature in an Oloroso Sherry Butt. The long maturation period of 16 years has given the whiskey an incredible depth and complexity. The alcohol content of 49.6% gives it a pleasant strength and a wonderfully balanced spectrum of aromas.
