Benriach The Twenty One
This exquisite single malt has been crafted from a combination of peated and unpeated whiskey from four different casks. He matured for at least twenty-one years in bourbon, sherry, oak and Bordeaux red wine barrels. During this long maturation, Benriach 's sweet Speyside smoke softens and blends harmoniously with notes of fruit, malt and oak.
After twenty-one years, a sweet and smoky honey taste develops, which is complemented by many aromas due to the many years of barrel aging. The whiskeys from the various cask styles were then combined to create a rich and elegant single malt, perfectly balanced with luscious orchard fruit and a honey smoke finish.
