Auchroisk 14 years
Discover the magic of Auchroisk 14 Years - a special Speyside single malt whose appeal lies in its authenticity. Unusually for Speyside, this whiskey is completely unpeated and thus reveals the pure spirit of its origins. The Auchroisk has long been the heart of well-known blends, but as a single barrel bottling it now reveals its character in full brilliance. This whiskey embodies exactly what we love - great spirit, refined by carefully selected oak wood, which brings to the fore the unique distillery note that often disappears behind blending and cold filtration.
Its exciting maturation story begins in January 2009, characterized by original storage in ex-bourbon wood. After our tasting it quickly became clear that the wonderful distillate deserved a touch more. So we moved the Auchroisk into two exclusive, ex-Palo Cortado sherry casks - a quarter cask and an even smaller firkin cask. These casks, which previously housed a rare and fine sherry as well as matured Benrinnes single malt, give the whiskey additional dimension and depth.
