The Ardbeg Ten 10 Years is an excellent single malt whiskey that is characterized by a variety of flavor elements. The aroma is characterized by a mixture of smoke, sweetness, toffee and chocolate, which is harmoniously rounded off by citrusy and floral notes. A pleasant sweetness unfolds with the first sip, followed by heavy peat notes that are refined with tobacco and espresso aromas. The Ardbeg Ten owes this remarkable taste experience to 10 years of ten-year aging in once or twice used ex-bourbon barrels made of American white oak.
