Delia Whisky Shop hosts regular whisky tastings in Kaiserslautern for newcomers, enthusiasts and experienced whisky fans. At our tasting venue at Im Erfenbacher Tal 16A, we welcome international brand ambassadors, representatives of renowned distilleries and fascinating guests. Every line-up is carefully selected, ranging from well-known distilleries to rare and exclusive bottlings.

Our public tastings take place in a personal atmosphere with limited capacity. Many evenings are hosted in English or in English and German, making them ideal for guests from Kaiserslautern, Ramstein and the international community around Ramstein Air Base. Every regular tasting includes water and a selection of high-quality breads. The exact date, language, number of drams, seating categories and special highlights are always shown on the individual tasting page.

If you are planning an evening for friends, family or colleagues, you can also enquire about a private whisky tasting. We will help you choose the line-up, language and budget, and can assist with finding a nearby hotel.

Where do the whisky tastings take place?

Our tastings take place at Delia Whisky Shop, Im Erfenbacher Tal 16A, 67661 Kaiserslautern. Parking is available in front of the store.

Which language is used during the tasting?

Our tastings are held in English or in English and German. The main language and all details for each evening are shown on the individual tasting page.

What is included in a regular ticket?

The listed line-up with the stated number of drams, plus water and a selection of high-quality breads. Any additional extras are described on the individual event page.

How long does a tasting last?

A tasting usually lasts around three hours. The exact start and planned end time are shown with each event.

Can groups sit together?

We do not assign individual seat numbers. Book the same seating category for your group and arrive in good time for the best chance of sitting together.

What is a Driver Ticket?

A Driver Ticket includes two glasses of alcohol-free wine and does not include a reserved seat. Seating is available around the store. If the tasting is not sold out and enough seats remain, moving next to your companion may be possible, but it cannot be guaranteed.

Can I book a private whisky tasting?

Yes. For friends, birthdays, teams or other groups, we can plan an individual date, a suitable line-up and your preferred language.

Can you help us find a hotel?
