This special bottling is created from Wolfburn's characteristically smooth, sweet spirit, which has been stored for just over eight years. The combination of Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads and First-Fill Bourbon Barrels creates a unique taste that is perfect for cozy winter evenings.
The Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads give the whiskey sweet notes of raisins, dates and chocolate, while the first-fill Bourbon Barrels add hints of vanilla and caramel. A pleasantly complex aroma profile unfolds on the nose, which is rounded off by Christmas spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg as well as a subtle note of smoke.
