The Wolfburn Distillery is proud to present this year's Christmas Release, an exclusive bottling that is particularly effective during the festive season. The Wolfburn "Merry Christmas" 2024, a limited edition, matured over a period of ten years in carefully selected Oloroso sherry butts. The bottling comprises a total of 1,600 bottles and has an alcohol content of 46% vol.
The complex range of aromas opens up on the nose and delights with a harmonious interplay of sweet and salty notes. The fresh sea air is accompanied by a fruity bouquet of dried fruit and a wealth of chocolate nuances. A subtle hint of citrus fruits and grains rounds off the olfactory experience, while the characteristic sherry sweetness beguiles the senses.
On the palate, a luxurious sweetness unfolds, dominated by juicy dates and sultanas. Delicate hints of cinnamon and honey enhance the taste experience and lead to a remarkable depth reminiscent of the traditional Christmas cake - a true feast for the taste buds.
