This expressive whiskey was born from an accidental discovery and has now, through the skills of Master Distiller Eddie Russell, matured into a masterful expression that combines straightforwardness and sophistication.
The rebellious birth of Master's Keep Unforgotten, when a mixup led to a marriage of young rye and aged bourbon, has evolved into a harmonious composition over more than a decade. Eddie Russell, shaped by decades of experience in distillation, proudly presents a high-proof, extra-aged variation. The special thing about this edition is the finish in rye barrels, which took place in the legendary Rickhouse B - the favorite warehouse of Eddie's father, Master Distiller Jimmy Russell.
With an alcohol content of 52.5% and aged in new American oak barrels, followed by a careful finish in rye barrels, this blended whiskey is a statement of connoisseurship and a tribute to craftsmanship. The artful guidance through the maturation process is reflected in every sip - powerful, complex and incomparable in taste.
