Westland Peated
Characteristics The classic five types of malt are complemented by one more in the Peated Single Malt: peat malt. This creates a balance between malty and peat notes. The smell of such a composition is like roasted bananas and freshly flamed orange peel. In the taste you will find a bouquet of roasted pistachios, green herbs and iodine.

Distillery The Westland Distillery is located in Seattle, Washington USA. They made a conscious decision not to produce bourbon, but to go for the American Single Malt Whiskey category. They founded and lead the ASMW Commission, which currently includes 110 distilleries. Since its founding in January 2010, the distillery has placed the highest value on quality. Each single malt is made from 100% malted barley. The distillate is only distilled up to 80% vol. Only barrels with a maximum capacity of 700 liters are used for maturation.
