This whiskey is made from a blend of carefully selected barley malts and special Garryana oak casks, which have a remarkable influence on its aroma and taste. Aged for seven years, this whiskey develops complex aromas of dark chocolate, roasted coffee and ripe fruit, accompanied by hints of oak and spicy notes. Distillery The Westland distillery is located in Seattle, Washington USA. They consciously decided not to produce bourbon, but rather to produce American single malt whiskey. They founded and run the ASMW commission, which now includes 110 distilleries. Since its founding in January 2010, the distillery has placed the highest value on quality. Each single malt is made from 100% malted barley. The distillate is only distilled to 80% ABV. Only barrels with a maximum capacity of 700 liters are used for maturation.
