Cooley WD O'Connell 19 years
The third release in the PX series is a 342 bottle single cask and a return to the 70cl format from the first PX bottling. The 19 year old single malt was distilled in Cooley and matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks for 17 years before a second aging for 30 months in ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Bottled at 46%, unchill-filtered and with no added colourings, it is a rich, full-bodied Irish whiskey that showcases the continued evolution of the limited series of Pedro Ximénez-influenced single malt Irish whiskeys.
