Hakushu 12 years
One of the few peated and slightly smoky Japanese whiskeys. The peat for the whiskey is imported from Scotland. The Hakushu 12 is thus married from a part of peated and unpeated whiskey and then bottled.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: ripe pear, dried mint, oregano, hints of smoke
Palate: jasmine, mango, quince, menthol
Finish: long, pleasantly smoked, a touch of bitterness
