The Botanist 22 Islay Dry Gin
The Botanist 22 Islay Dry Gin is undoubtedly one of the best-known and most popular gin classics. It is characterized by an impressive complexity and complexity and is a true masterpiece of the art of distilling. This premium gin is made in the Bruichladdich distillery on the wild Hebridean island of Islay.
A total of 22 wild Islay botanicals - harvested by hand - as well as nine classic gin components such as berries, bark, seeds and zest are used specifically for the production of the Botanist Gin. Particular attention is paid to gentle distillation, which lasts a full 17 hours. This is how the characteristic gin is created, which reflects the unadulterated aroma of the Hebridean island.
Distillation takes place in "Ugly Betty", a specially modified Lomond still, which ensures optimal copper contact. This gin is characterized by a multifaceted aroma and an incomparable variety of tastes, which makes it a real experience for the senses.
A special feature of The Botanist 22 Islay Dry Gin is the fact that the botanicals are only collected during seven months of the year - always at the optimal harvest time. Never more plants are harvested than are needed for a year's production.
