Talisker Distillers Edition 2007-2017
The Talisker Distillers Edition 2007–2017 is an impressive single malt whisky from the Isle of Skye, which has been matured in a special finish: after regular maturation in American oak, it is finished in Amoroso sherry casks, which gives it additional depth and sweetness.
Typical for Talisker, this edition offers a harmonious combination of maritime notes, subtle smoke, and peppery spice. The sherry cask maturation brings aromas of dark fruit, caramel, and smooth chocolate into play – perfectly balanced with the salty freshness of the coast.
A complex, elegant whisky with a lingering, slightly smoky finish. Ideal for lovers of characterful island whiskies with a distinctive finish.
