Maturation in the distillery, barrel storage in Europe, both in combination: matured rum is sometimes so diverse because, in addition to the barrel type, the climatic conditions in particular have an impact on its development. With the Scheer Velier Main Rum Range, rum fans have the chance to make a direct comparison between purely tropical and purely continental rums.
MMW Wedderburn 11 yo are blends of two casks distilled in 2007 and 2008.
For better differentiation, there are red (tropical maturation) and blue labels (continental maturation) - but anyone who has the rums in the glass will also recognize the difference: in terms of ester content, aroma and alcohol content. The fillings are available as a set, but also individually.
