Der Stauning R.Y.E. PX Sherry Oak verbindet Staunings charaktervollen dänischen Rye-Stil mit der süßen Tiefe von Pedro-Ximénez-Sherryfässern. Die Basis bilden lokal angebauter Roggen und Gerste, die bei Stauning traditionell bodengemälzt und in kleinen, direkt befeuerten Kupferbrennblasen destilliert werden.
Nach der Reifung im typischen Stauning-R.Y.E.-Stil erhält der Whisky ein Finish in PX-Sherryfässern. Dadurch zeigt er neben der würzigen Roggenstruktur dunkle Frucht, süßliche Sherrynoten, warme Gewürze und eine elegante Tiefe. Der Abgang wirkt lang, rund und großzügig.
