St.Kilian X-Series Ketterer Wash
The St.Kilian X-Series Ketterer Wash is a unique single malt whisky produced by distilling a high-quality wash from the renowned Pforzheim family brewery Ketterer. The master distiller & blender Mario Rudolf previously worked as a brewer at Ketterer and has contributed his knowledge and experience to the production of this exquisite whisky.
This special single malt whisky matured for a total of eight years and underwent a rare double maturation, during which it was first stored in ex-bourbon casks and then transferred to ex-Sauternes barrique casks and small ex-bourbon casks from Garrison Brothers for further maturation. This gave it a complex range of aromas of honey, delicate vanilla and butterscotch as well as sweet fruit and fine spice notes, which give it an unmistakable full-bodiedness.
