St. Kilian Ultra Heavily Peated
The St. Kilian Ultra Heavily Peated is a top-class whisky and is a true taste experience thanks to its intense fruit sweetness, malty nuances and warming oak spice. The special thing about this single malt whisky is the barley malt used, which has been heavily peated at 135 ppm. This gives the whisky a smoky note that is enveloped in subtle ash notes.
The St. Kilian Ultra Heavily Peated is produced in genuine Scottish pot stills and is distilled twice. The whisky matures for six years in a 250 l ex Sherry Oloroso Hogshead with the number #1784 before it is bottled at a strong 58.9% ABV. This bottling results in a total of 365 bottles of 0.5 liters each.
