St.Kilian Signature Edition Thirteen
The smoky Signature Edition Thirteen is special because of its unique composition. Five different types of wood were used, including Palatinate and Hungarian oak as well as wild robinia, chestnut and cherry. The distillates are from 2016, 2018 and 2019 and were made from Scottish peat smoke malt at 54 ppm. They matured in five types of fresh wooden casks to create an intense single malt full of character.
Tasting Notes:
Experience the intense pleasure of ripe cherries and apricots in creamy vanilla. Spicy oak and wood tones as well as a juicy hint of BBQ join in. Enjoy hints of peat smoke and flavors of juicy apricots, red cherries and sweet vanilla cream with warming wood. The whole thing is rounded off by finely spicy oak, white pepper and a hint of ginger.
