St. Kilian Signature Edition Fifteen
The signature edition FIFTEEN was distilled from Scottish peat malt with an impressive phenol content of 80 ppm. This special bottling was then matured for three years in former Amarone barrels of different sizes (50 l, 100 l and 310 l). These barrels were transported to Rüdenau directly after the full-bodied Amarone della Valpolicella from Bardolino in Italy was emptied. The winey notes of the barrels combine harmoniously with the elegant fruit accents and the intense smoky notes of the St. Kilian New Make and give this single malt whisky a unique and distinctive taste profile.
