Trutina, whose Latin roots mean "honest and pure", represents the distilled essence of their craftsmanship. This version is a Cask Strength Edition, matured exclusively in Bourbon casks with no additional color or chill filtration - 1500 individually numbered bottles at 59.1% bottled to ensure quality. At first glance it reveals a pale golden hue reminiscent of white wine, while on the nose it reveals light aromas characterized by initial clean and fruity notes that subtly hint at a higher alcohol content than one can taste when tasting vanilla and creamy soda flavors are expected, followed by bolder fruity undertones, finally accompanied by a subtle spike of white pepper on the finish.
