Spey Trutina
Trutina means honest & pure in Latin and this release symbolizes the natural, simple qualities of Speyside distillery. Aged 100% in Bourbon casks, bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and no added coloring. It is a limited edition of 18,000 individually numbered bottles.
Tasting Notes:
This whiskey has a light nose, with an initially savory top note on a fruity base of white grapes, apple blossom and preserved lychees. Later, floral notes unfold, accompanied by a hint of candy. The texture is just as light, with a sweet attack followed by crisp acidity and fragrant candy. The finish is reminiscent of white chocolate. A pleasure for all senses!
