The Siembra Valles Tequila Blanco High Proof is an excellent example of artisanal distillation techniques that are rarely used today. The fully ripe agaves are cooked exclusively in masonry ovens to achieve an intensity of flavor that can only be achieved through traditional methods. The fermentation with fiber gives the product a much stronger body than with more modern processes.
The tequila is double distilled in copper stills, which gives it a full and complex taste. The one-year maturation process in glass containers stabilizes the final product and allows it to continue to develop.
The Siembra Valles Tequila Blanco High Proof is bottled at 48% without the addition of water, which is the traditional drinking strength of tequila and gives the connoisseur an authentic taste experience. Aromas of agave, cinnamon and vegetable notes present themselves on the nose. The taste is characterized by agave and pastries and has a light peppery note. The finish is dominated by liquorice with a hint of caramel.
