The Secret Speyside 14 year old True Friends Fior Charaidean is a fascinating single cask bottling from Scotland. This edition was distilled in June 2009 and bottled by The Caskhound in July 2023 after aging in an ex- bourbon cask and a further 363 days in a tawny port cask. This combination gives the whiskey its unique color and aromas of delicate fruit and a subtle spiciness.
The bottling took place at cask strength of 56%, which ensures an intense and complex taste explosion. The bottles were produced in a limited number of only 311 and bear the unique cask number 176.
