The Scarabus Sherry Batch Strength Edition is an exclusive creation that takes Islay single malt to a new level of intensity and complexity. With an alcohol strength of 57%, this limited edition is full of power and character that lingers on the tongue for a long time.
The use of 1st Fill Sherry casks gives this edition a unique aroma profile, which was further enhanced by the maturation of some casks in 1st Fill Oloroso casks. On the nose, the Scarabus Sherry Batch Strength presents itself with an intense Islay peat smoke, accompanied by dark berries and a pinch of sea salt.
In the mouth, a warm leather note unfolds with additional intensity and a subtle chocolate sweetness, giving the Islay single malt a new dimension. The finish is even more intense and fruity than other Islay malts and ensures a long-lasting and profound taste experience.
