The Savanna Rhum Origine 1870 is a truly historical masterpiece from the traditional distillery. It was created to celebrate the roots and origins of the distillery in a particularly impressive way. With a unique blend of some of the distillery's rarest and oldest molasses rums , aged between ten and 16 years in cognac or port wine barrels, this Rhum Vieux de la Reúnion – Hors d'Âge is a true rarity.
The master blender Thierry Grondin, together with Savanna's cellar master, created this blend of six different Rhums Traditionnels and Grand Arômes Rhums. Only the best and highest quality rums were selected for this blend to create a unique taste experience.
The result is a rhum of exceptional quality and elegance, with a remarkably deep and complex aroma. The Savanna Rhum Origine 1870 is full-bodied and rich, with notes of vanilla, caramel and spices. The taste is warm and soft, with hints of grapes and a long, pleasant finish.
