The Saint Michael 22 year old Barbados Rum , bottled by Valinch & Mallet, is an outstanding example of a high-quality, mature rum from Barbados. This pure single rum was produced in an unspecified distillery and impresses with its careful production.
Distillation took place in 2001 in a traditional pot still, with the rum initially being allowed to mature for five years in tropical conditions. This was followed by extended storage for 17 years in continental European climates, resulting in a complex range of aromas and a remarkable depth of flavor.
With an alcohol content of 51.1%, the Saint Michael Rum unfolds intensely in the glass. The limited edition includes only 273 bottles, which makes this rum a sought-after collector's item for lovers of fine spirits.
