21-year-old aged rum from Panama
This rum from Rum Nation is based on sugarcane molasses and was continuously distilled in a column still. Its 21-year aging took place in Panama in American white oak barrels previously used for American whiskey. It is bottled at 42.0% Vol., without coloring and without chill filtration.
Aromas and Taste
The aroma combines dark sugarcane, tobacco, and vanilla with subtle tropical fruit notes. On the palate, figs and dates meet honey and chocolate. With more time in the glass, hints of bergamot, coffee, and black tea emerge. Cinnamon and fine pepper characterize the lingering finish.
Serving Suggestion and Presentation
For pure enjoyment, a serving temperature at room temperature and a nosing glass are recommended. The rum is offered in the matte black Black Decanter and in a black gift box with a world map motif.
