Reservoir Rye

100% of a single type of grain is used in each case. This is unique to American whiskey.
Every step is pure manual work: From malting, to bottling, to wax closure.
The whiskey is produced exclusively in small batches.
The raw materials come 100% from Virginia - the grain comes from friendly farmers near the distillery.
Open-top fermentation: The yeast gets better air here and a harmonious, spicy aroma develops.

Tasting Notes


Nose: honey and crème brûlée, rye spice and yeast, some orange peel/citrus tones.

Palate: Sweet notes of dark chocolate, anise, spicy with pepper.

Finish :Dissolves into a dry finish, leaving cola and molasses on the tongue, classic rye shortstop.
