This rum was distilled in February 2001 and bottled in American oak casks in Trinidad. After 17 years of aging in the tropical conditions of Trinidad, it was shipped to Europe in February 2018. It will finally be bottled in July 2023. With an impressive alcohol strength of 67.1% vol, this rum reveals Immediately after pouring, a fresh and fruity aroma accompanied by notes of gluten, menthol, mint and wood. It offers a pleasant blend of flavors.
1x RA Guyana Rum 32 Years MEV 1990/2023 Cask #71 57.6% 0.5l
This rum was distilled in December 1990 and shipped to Europe in early 1991. Distillation took place in a single wood-fired still and bottling took place in rum casks. Aromas of apricot, a subtle pencil note, aniseed and cedar wood unfold when poured. After about half an hour, these aromas become even more intense and a little fresher, complemented by a fine note of vanilla and herbs. The taste is spicy and strong with fruity notes of apricot, leather, pencil and herbs. The rum is not sweet but has a very long and dry finish with spice and pencil shavings.
