Such old rums will probably not often end up in our glasses. All the better that we have opened up this rarity from 1982 for you. This rum is a blend of pot still and column still rums. We bottled it at cask strength. This falls at 45.1%. but quite low, some may wonder. But it is about the cask strength that was actually determined, the degree of degree was not subsequently reduced.
Tasting Notes
The nose initially reveals fruity aromas of mango, apple and some banana to the connoisseur, followed by fleeting notes paired with fine tobacco notes. After this complex rum has been allowed to breathe in the glass for some time, aromas of nut, finest wood and leather are added. On the palate you experience an enormous complexity, but the rum is and remains a true gentleman thanks to its filigree esters, accompanied by wood and fruity notes. After each tasting you can perceive more aromas.
