The Port Charlotte 9 Year Old PMC:01 is a remarkable bottling from the Bruichladdich distillery from the Cask Exploration Series. This single malt whiskey was matured for a total of nine years, initially aging in ex-bourbon casks for four years before resting in Pomerol wine casks for a further five years. These barrels gave it a rich, fruity oak that defined its depth and complexity.
