Maturation in a carefully selected combination of 1st and 2nd fill Bourbon casks, followed by a unique maturation in 1st fill Syrah casks, gives this single malt whisky a remarkable depth of flavour. This innovative cask exploration is a first for the distillery and enhances the already strong character the strongly peaty spirit to a new level.
