Plantation Rum 16 Years Barbados 2007
The Plantation Rum Barbados 16 Years 2007/2023 One-Time Limited Edition is an excellently matured rum of the highest quality. The rum was distilled after a 3-day fermentation in the renowned West Indies Rum Distillery using column and pot still processes. After an initial maturation phase of 2 years in classic bourbon barrels in Barbados, it was refined for a further 14 years in former Ferrand barrels in France. This unique production process guarantees a rum with exceptional taste and aromatic diversity.
When nosing, spicy aromas, ripe bananas and citrus fruits unfold, which ensnare the palate and offer you a wonderful aromatic experience. When tasting, you'll notice that citrus fruits and vanilla are accompanied by coconut and crème brûlée, which intensifies the aroma even more. The careful aging process gives the rum its distinctive soft and supple texture, making it feel both gentle and complex in the mouth.
