The Orkney 2006 from AD Rattray is an 18-year-old single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2024. It comes from an unnamed distillery on the Orkney Islands, which connoisseurs often assume is one of the few distilleries located there. The whisky was bottled at cask strength with a robust 58.4% ABV, without chill filtration and without the addition of coloring. This single cask bottling offers an intense, complex interplay of flavors that has developed over the long maturation period. As is typical with AD Rattray, the edition is limited.
