The Nine Leaves 2020 PX Sherry Single Cask Pure Single Japanese Rum comes from the Nine Leaves distillery in Shiga Prefecture, Japan. Distilled in 2020 in a copper pot still using muscovado sugar from Okinawa, the rum was then aged in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry cask made of Spanish oak. Bottled as a single cask at 60% ABV in 0.7-liter bottles, this rum is classified as Pure Single Rum, indicating that both distillation and bottling took place at the same distillery using the pot still method.
