Naga Asian Rum 10 Years Kingdom of Siam
Naga Rum from the ancient kingdom of Siam was column distilled at 67% from molasses and then aged for 10 years in American oak casks in a cellar cable lengths from the South China Sea.
The aging process is called static as opposed to the dynamic process used for whisky, cognac and some rums. This process is reminiscent of the bottling of wines and consists in compensating for the evaporative loss of the rum in the barrels, which averages 7%, by pouring rum of the same age into the barrel.
