The Mount Gay 1703 Barbados Rum PX Sherry Cask Expression represents the exceptional craftsmanship of the master blenders and embodies the tradition and heritage of the oldest rum distillery in the world. With a careful selection of rum stocks that have matured for up to 20 years in former American whiskey barrels , this rum is offered in a limited edition of only 4,200 bottles.

The exceptional maturation takes place in the tropical climate of Barbados, where the high humidity and warm temperatures intensify the interaction between the distillate and the wood of the barrels. These conditions give the rum complex and deep aromas of burnt oak and toasted vanilla.
