Martell Cordon Bleu Extra Old Cognac
Tradition and Cuvée
Martell Cordon Bleu is a traditional cuvée from the House of Martell, created in 1912 by Édouard Martell. For the original bottling, more than 100 eaux-de-vie are blended together. A high proportion of mature distillates from the Borderies cru defines its characteristic style, while eaux-de-vie from other Cognac crus add further depth. After aging in oak barrels, the cognac is bottled at 40.0% ABV.
Aroma Profile
On the nose, candied plums and ripe apples combine with floral notes, mocha, and roasted almonds. On the palate, the cognac is full-bodied and balanced, with ripe fruit notes, delicate spices, and well-integrated oak notes. The long finish once again evokes the fruity and spicy impressions.
