This Mackmyra Single Cask was aged for 15 years and bottled at cask strength . What's special is that it was matured in a rum barrel for over 6 years to develop its unique taste. Treat yourself to this special whiskey!
Tasting notes:
Explosive and powerful – this mature Mackmyra whiskey impresses with an astonishing variety of aromas. Prepare yourself for the taste experience of plum jam, “green” aromas, woody taste and hints of licorice, leather, tobacco and strong Turkish mocha. Dark chocolate and cream pudding are added later. The finish is very long and intense with roasted aromas and dark, creamy caramel. A real treat!
