Macallan Double Cask 15 years
The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old is an extremely balanced single malt that has been matured in both European oak casks and sherry-aged American oak casks. This whiskey is sweet, warm with lots of vanilla, caramel and citrus, not to mention the subtle spiciness of Macallan.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Dried fruit, toffee and vanilla with smooth oak and baked apple. Balanced with notes of honey and chocolate.
Palate: Sweet raisins and sultanas build with hints of vanilla, wood spice and citrus.
Finish: Warm with ginger turning to caramel and citrus, with a lingering and creamy mouthfeel.
