Macallan 18 Year Old Double Cask

Two oaks that form the perfect harmony in an exceptional single malt whiskey. Our double cask whiskeys are matured in two types of oak, in specially selected handcrafted casks flavored with dry Oloroso sherry. American oak gives it delicate flavors of vanilla, citrus and butterscotch. European oak provides The Macallan's unmistakable, subtle spice. Once matured, two exceptional whiskeys combine to create a distinctive single malt with a sweeter, warmer flavor and character.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Dried fruits, ginger and toffee. Rich orange with hints of clove and nutmeg.

Palate: Rich raisins and sultanas with notes of caramel, vanilla and ginger balanced by woody spice and zesty citrus.

Finish :Warm oak spice with ginger, which turns into sweet orange.
