Living Souls 99+1
The Living Souls Ninety-Nine & One bottling from the independent bottler is the result of an unexpected but successful experiment. Originally, ex-bourbon and sherry casks containing an 18-year-old Ledaig single malt were to be bottled. But then a mishap occurred: a cask of 3-year-old single grain whisky was accidentally mixed up with the Ledaig casks, so that a small amount of grain whisky ended up in the vatting tank. The end result was a unique blend with a ratio of 99% 18-year-old Ledaig single malt and 1% single grain - which gave this special bottling its name 99+1 (Ninety-Nine & One). Bottled at 46.3% ABV, this exceptional blended Scotch impresses with its exciting history and unique character.
